After watching the Youtube channel Vsauce, I noticed a couple of recurring trends in the videos. There are often graphics, sound effects, and music to accompany the dialogue of the video. This video structure is very effective because it appeals to a range of our senses and when combined creates a well-polished harmony of multiple modes.
Vsauce's take on a video essay is very effective because it delivers the message through clear and comprehensible dialogue, but also accompanies it with additional visual and auditory elements. This way the dialogue itself is not lost, but instead enhanced and emphasized through the use of additional elements.
