Project 1 Process Artifacts
For my process artifacts, I tried to showcase a diversity in mediums used in this project. The map concept required a lot of research, planning, and tons of time making sure the small details on the final product were how I wanted them. For my process, I first created the map itself by combining old, out-dated maps and also mapping new trails myself. From there I marked where I wanted to add photos and then hiked the trails again to take pictures of the marked locations. I took a lot of photos, many of them from the same place but different angles/views. Once the photos were added, I also added new elements like the elevation. From here I had to find a good map online and search for Farmdale specifically. I then photoshopped the screenshotted map to remove unwanted elements. Then for my final process I made the map digitally interactive by adding the descriptions and photos to the online version. This took some time working in wix as can be seen by my excess amount of pages created in my last artifact.
